Innomotics Secures Major Contract for Newark Airport AirTrain

Innomotics GmbH has been awarded a significant contract by Doppelmayr Group for the AirTrain project at Newark Liberty International Airport. The contract involves the supply of the complete electric and automation system. The project is valued in the high double-digit million range.

This project, part of the AirTrain Newark Replacement Program, will see Innomotics deliver design, engineering, and launch support for various systems. These include automatic train control, communication, and power distribution systems, amongst others. The system aims to enhance passenger transit between terminals by 2030.

Innomotics and Doppelmayr have a history of collaboration spanning over 20 years. This new partnership marks another milestone in providing sustainable and autonomous airport transportation solutions.
