The city improved across all three talent competitiveness factors, securing notable positions in "Appeal," "Readiness," and "Investment and Development."

Chief Executive John Lee credits the Hong Kong government's efforts in enhancing education and talent development. With five universities in the world's top 100, Hong Kong nurtures world-class scientists and research talent. The nearby Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Guangzhou innovation cluster topped the Global Innovation Index for the first time, underscoring the region's innovative capacity and strategic importance for global talent.
