ZeroPath Corp. Unveils AI-Driven Code Security Platform

ZeroPath Corp., a Y Combinator-backed cybersecurity firm based in San Francisco, has announced the public launch of its AI-powered code security platform. The platform is designed to enhance security analysis for development teams by utilizing large language models (LLMs). It departs from traditional pattern-matching and rule-based methods, offering a more nuanced approach to vulnerability detection.

The company, known for spotting zero-day vulnerabilities in major open-source projects, emphasizes its platform's ability to understand context and identify complex issues like business logic flaws and authorization bypasses. These sophisticated vulnerabilities often evade detection by conventional tools and usually require manual code review.

In tandem with this launch, ZeroPath completed a seed funding round led by SurgePoint Capital, with participation from Y Combinator and angel investor Paul Graham. The platform claims a lower false positive rate than typical static analysis tools, further bolstering its appeal to enterprises.
