Infineon Technologies AG Reports Slight Revenue and Earnings Increase in Q3 FY 2024

Infineon Technologies AG revealed slight improvements in revenue and earnings for the third quarter of fiscal year 2024. The company's revenue climbed to €3.702 billion, marking a 2% rise from the prior quarter. Likewise, the Segment Result reached €734 million, with a margin of 19.8%. The Automotive and Power & Sensor Systems segments fueled this growth.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, Infineon projects revenue of approximately €4.0 billion, assuming an exchange rate of US$1.10 to the euro. The full-year revenue forecast remains around €15.0 billion, with investments anticipated at about €2.8 billion. Adjusted Free Cash Flow is expected to be €1.5 billion, despite a reported Free Cash Flow of minus €200 million.

CEO Jochen Hanebeck emphasized ongoing efforts to strengthen competitiveness in a challenging market through the "Step Up" structural improvement program. Infineon remains confident in its growth trajectory heading into the next fiscal quarter.
