Ilmor and GM Marine to Showcase Advanced Marine Engines at SuperCat Fest West

Ilmor, a leading high-performance marine engine manufacturer, together with GM Marine, will be featured at the SuperCat Fest West Boat Show in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The event, known for displaying some of the world’s fastest pleasure boats, will include Ilmor and GM Marine's exceptional marine engines, marking a significant collaboration between the two entities in 2024.

Among the highlights at the show will be Ilmor's Supercharged 650, a marinized version of GM’s award-winning LT4 engine. This engine is equipped with an Eaton TVS Supercharger, capable of producing 650 horsepower and 665 lb-ft of torque. Engineered for power and reliability, the Supercharged 650 promises to elevate the boating experience for enthusiasts.

Ilmor will also exhibit the MV8 570, known for its efficiency and high performance. The 570 HP engine features a modern LS architecture cylinder block from GM Performance Parts and includes advanced technologies such as variable valve timing. This engine is designed to enhance performance by offering powerful lower end torque and high RPM horsepower.

The SuperCat Fest West, now in its second year, not only showcases top-tier marine engines and boats but also includes social events such as Fun Runs, dock parties, and a Poker Run. The event aims to exceed its previous year's charitable fundraising of $200,000.
