ID Finance Achieves Carbon Footprint Verification for 2022 and Sets Sights on 2023 Verification

ID Finance, a premier Fintech firm operating in Spain and Mexico, has announced the successful attainment of carbon footprint verification for 2022, certified by Bureau Veritas. This achievement highlights the firm's dedication to sustainability and its efforts to combat climate change. In 2022, ID Finance undertook an exhaustive greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory in line with ISO 14064-1:2019 standards, which disclosed a carbon footprint of 51,762 tons of CO2 equivalent (tCO2e), mainly from employee mobility and electricity consumption.

Following this success, ID Finance is now focusing on obtaining carbon footprint verification for 2023, demonstrating its commitment to environmental improvement. The company has initiated several measures to reduce its carbon footprint and is investing in projects aimed at achieving carbon neutrality.
