Huawei Celebrates 2025 XMAGE Awards Winners at Paris Photo

In a vibrant display at Paris Photo, Huawei announced the winners of the 2025 XMAGE Awards, chosen from over 743,000 entries from 78 countries. This marked the third year of collaboration between Huawei and the event. Out of 100 exceptional works, three were awarded the prestigious XMAGE 100 Grand Prize.

"Ethereal Lines" by Gheorge Popa, a Romanian pharmacist and photographer, was one of the winning images. Captured with the HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra, the photograph depicts the vivid colors of Geamăna Lake in Transylvania, a site affected by historical mining activities.

Another Grand Prize went to "Origin of Skiing" by AC Chen Guanhong. This image highlights a young girl from Altay, China, celebrating the region's cultural significance as the birthplace of skiing. XMAGE 100 jury member Liu Heung Shing praised the exceptional quality of the submissions and the growth of mobile photography.
