HPW Unveils New Copper Wire Plant in Garsten

HPW Metallwerk GmbH has launched a new UPCAST® copper wire casting plant at its Garsten site, aligning with its focus on sustainable production. The facility highlights HPW's dedication to reducing CO₂ emissions by using copper scrap and recycled cathodes directly in production. This strategic addition enhances the company's capacity to produce premium copper wire, providing a competitive edge and boosting resilience.

Located in Linz, HPW is a key player in high-performance wires for electromobility. The Garsten plant is pivotal to its operations, meeting the demands of top-tier automotive manufacturers.
