HÖRMANN Industries Reports Dip in Sales amid Challenging Conditions

HÖRMANN Industries GmbH published its interim financial results for the first nine months of 2024, highlighting a 14.3% drop in sales to €487.2 million from €568.6 million the previous year. The decline was driven by macroeconomic challenges impacting the Automotive and Intralogistics divisions, while the Communication and Engineering divisions showed positive trends.

The Group reported a decrease in EBITDA from €22.7 million to €13.0 million and EBIT from €13.8 million to €3.1 million. Despite this, the company maintained a positive outlook for 2024, projecting annual sales between €680 million and €700 million, and EBIT between €16 million and €20 million.

Sales in the Automotive segment fell by €87.4 million, and the Intralogistics division also saw a decline. The Communication division, however, posted sales of €144.1 million, outperforming last year's figures. The company confirmed its forecast based on the current economic landscape, underlining a robust order backlog of €553.7 million.
