HOPIUM sets up in Saint-Bonnet-de-Mure on a low-carbon site
On July 2, 2024, HOPIUM signed the lease for its new industrial site in Saint-Bonnet-de-Mure. Located in eastern Lyon, this site of more than 1,000 m² combines energy performance and the bringing together of R&D, technical and production teams. This choice is part of the approach to decarbonizing heavy transport, with a double A Energy Performance Diagnosis.
The Lyon region, recognized for its dynamic mobility and hydrogen ecosystem, facilitated this implementation. The ONLYLYON Invest agency supported HOPIUM, highlighting the importance of the company's contribution to sustainable mobility. This eco-responsible site embodies the company's values of social and environmental responsibility.
Equipped with technologies reducing CO2 emissions, this site will welcome teams from September 2024 with production planned for 2025. HOPIUM also plans to double its workforce and form regional partnerships.
