Holcim Acquires Cand-Landi Group to Accelerate Decarbonization and Circularity in Switzerland

Holcim Group has acquired Cand-Landi Group, a leading recycling and waste management company in western Switzerland. With net sales of CHF 70 million and 250 employees, Cand-Landi offers diverse services from recycling to ready-mix concrete.

The acquisition will enhance decarbonization efforts at Holcim's Eclépens plant by supplying alternative raw materials and fuels. Additionally, it will boost Holcim’s recycling capacity of construction demolition materials by 100,000 tons annually.

The Cand-Landi Group, family-owned for 128 years, has been a significant partner for Holcim. This acquisition will provide expanded solutions in construction, logistics, and the circular economy.

CEO Miljan Gutovic emphasized the strategic importance of this acquisition for promoting innovation and sustainability in Switzerland. He welcomed the 250 Cand-Landi employees to Holcim’s growth initiatives.
