HMSHost Awarded 15-Year Contract to Upgrade Sacramento International Airport’s Dining Options

HMSHost, a subsidiary of Avolta AG (SIX: AVOL), has secured a 15-year contract to revamp Sacramento International Airport's (SMF) dining landscape. This project will transform 16,700 ft² in Terminals A and B, featuring a blend of local Sacramento restaurants and national brands.

Under the new agreement, HMSHost will introduce nine new dining options. Among the local selections are Café Bernardo, Centro Cocina Mexicana, Magpie, and New Helvetia Brewing Company. These additions aim to offer farm-to-table fare and locally crafted products.

The contract also includes updated Starbucks venues and new Wendy’s locations in both terminals. Sycamore Market and Golden Grove Market will complement these offerings, providing travel essentials and local gifts.

Steve Johnson, President and CEO of Avolta North America, expressed enthusiasm for the local collaborations. Cindy Nichol, Director of Sacramento County Department of Airports, highlighted the positive impact on customer experience and regional promotion.
