HMS Bergbau AG Reports Growth in Fiscal 2024

HMS Bergbau AG has reported an increase in both EBITDA and sales revenues for the fiscal year 2024. According to preliminary figures, EBITDA rose by 21.3% to approximately EUR 19 million, while net income increased by 5.3% to around EUR 13.1 million. Sales revenues grew by 4.0% to roughly EUR 1.35 billion. This growth is attributed to the significant expansion of ship capacity and trade financing.

The company expanded its trading activities significantly, with ship capacity increasing by 16% from the previous year. A credit line agreement with Vietcombank was also secured to support long-term trading. For 2025, HMS Bergbau anticipates continued growth in sales revenue and EBITDA, supported by high coal demand in emerging markets like India and China.
