Management Changes at Sport1 Medien Group Amid Strategic Realignment

Sport1 Medien Group, part of Highlight Event and Entertainment AG, presses ahead with its strategic realignment initiated last year. The recent inclusion of Acunmedya Holding B.V. as a 50% shareholder and the sale of PLAZAMEDIA GmbH to DMC Production GmbH in July mark significant steps in this process. These moves are aimed at simplifying the corporate structure.

Following these changes, the managing directors, Robin Seckler and Dr. Matthias Kirschenhofer, are stepping down. Tufan Özkul, a seasoned manager with international media experience, will assume operational management immediately. Highlight Event and Entertainment AG's Board expresses gratitude to the outgoing directors and welcomes Özkul to his new role.
