Oerlikon Metco and HIAG Sign Long-Term Rental Agreement

HIAG Immobilien Holding AG has announced a 20-year rental agreement with Oerlikon Metco, a leader in surface technology and processing, for facilities on the Reichhold campus in Hausen/Lupfig. This agreement is part of a broader development plan and solidifies Oerlikon Metco as one of HIAG's top five tenants.

Oerlikon Metco will consolidate its Wohlen, Dottikon, and Winterthur sites at this location, enhancing Switzerland's role in their coating and systems business. The construction of new production and office facilities began in April 2025, with an expected completion by the end of 2026, adding 15,000 m² of space.

CEO Marco Feusi highlights the relocation's significance, bringing 230 jobs to the area. This development aligns with HIAG's strategy to attract innovative tenants, thereby adding value for its investors.
