Hep solar Enters Italian Market, Expanding European Presence

Güglingen, 16 September 2025 – hep solar, an international solar specialist, has expanded into the Italian market, marking a strategic milestone in their European growth plan. Already active in Germany and Poland, the company aims to develop 400 to 500 MWp of solar and energy storage projects in Italy over the next two years. Initial sites and projects have been secured.

Martin Vogt, Global Head of Project Development at hep solar, highlighted Italy's dynamic solar market and strong demand for photovoltaic solutions as key motivators for this expansion. Italy, the fourth-largest solar market in the EU, plans to double its installed solar capacity from 36 GW in 2024 to 79 GW by 2030, driven by high electricity prices and governmental incentives.
