Helrom Inaugurates Transalpine Route Between Regensburg and Verona

Helrom GmbH has officially opened its new transalpine connection between Regensburg and Verona, marking a significant milestone in climate-friendly and reliable freight transport. The route was inaugurated at a ceremony held at bayernhafen Regensburg, with Bavarian State Minister Christian Bernreiter presiding over the event. This new connection aims to strengthen logistics infrastructure in the region.

Notable guests such as Joachim Zimmermann, Managing Director of bayernhafen, and Roman Noack, CEO of Helrom, attended the event. The Regensburg—Verona line facilitates the intermodal transport of non-craneable truck trailers, reducing CO₂ emissions by 90%.

Transport Minister Bernreiter emphasized the importance of shifting freight transport from road to rail, which the new Brenner route supports. Roman Noack highlighted the route's role in promoting sustainable logistics. The event also showcased Helrom's innovative truck trailer loading technology.
