HelloFresh SE Co-Founder Thomas Griesel to Depart
HelloFresh SE has announced that Thomas Griesel, co-founder and CEO International, will depart from the company by 30 April 2026. Griesel is leaving to explore interests beyond HelloFresh, leaving behind a legacy of transforming the meal kit industry. His position will not be filled immediately, reflecting confidence in the existing leadership team.
Griesel co-founded HelloFresh nearly 14 years ago, contributing to its growth into a global leader in food solutions. Under his leadership, the company expanded into 18 countries and delivered close to one billion meals last year. It reported consolidated revenue of EUR 7.66 billion in 2024.
John H. Rittenhouse, chairman of the supervisory board, praised Griesel's vision and leadership. Dominik Richter, HelloFresh's co-founder, acknowledged Griesel's vital role and the legacy he leaves. With strong foundations in place, HelloFresh is poised for continued growth.
