Haulotte Group Reports 17% Decline in 2024 Sales

Haulotte Group, a leading provider in the aerial work platform market, has announced a significant sales drop for 2024. The company's annual turnover reached €634 million, marking a 17% decrease compared to 2023, primarily impacted by a global market slowdown. The decline was observed in all business lines, with equipment sales witnessing a 20% reduction and rental sales a drop of 11%. Conversely, the services segment reported a growth of 9%, amounting to €77 million.

In the fourth quarter, sales plummeted by 37% year-on-year to €126 million, largely due to decreased demand from rental customers and previous sales peaks. Regionally, Europe and Asia-Pacific saw the most substantial declines of 23% and 21%, respectively, while North America also faced an 11% downturn. Interestingly, Latin America maintained stable activity levels.

Looking ahead, while Haulotte is unable to set a specific sales target for 2025 due to market uncertainties, the company remains optimistic about maintaining a robust operating margin of approximately 6.5% through operational efficiency and innovation.
