Hannan Outlines a Significant Copper-Gold Porphyry at Previsto Central, Peru

Vancouver, BC / ACCESSWIRE / May 22, 2024 / Hannan Metals Limited (TSXV:HAN)(OTC PINK:HANNF) announced a significant copper-gold porphyry discovery at the Previsto Central prospect within the Valiente Project in Peru.

Highlights of the discovery include outcropping porphyry-style mineralization over a 4 km by 1 km area, extensive surface anomalies in stream sediment and soil samples, and a 10 km by 5 km airborne magnetic and radiometric anomaly. The discovery at Previsto Central represents a large-scale porphyry cluster within a 25 km by 10 km area.

Michael Hudson, CEO, stated that the discovery appears to be an extremely large porphyry-epithermal system. The focus during the dry season will be advancing drill permitting. Initial signs of mineralization were confirmed by prospecting work since the start of 2024.

The Previsto Central prospect is defined by a large airborne magnetic and radiometric anomaly, indicating areas rich in magnetite and associated porphyry alteration minerals. The area remains the main focus of Hannan's upcoming field program.

Preliminary soil sampling at Previsto Central shows strong correlation with copper mineralization, with anomalies extending over 1,000 m. Best channel sample result was 0.25% copper over 5.8 m.
