Hannan Expands Copper-Gold Porphyry Discoveries in Peru

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / August 6, 2024 / Hannan Metals Limited has announced significant developments at the Previsto Central prospect within their Valiente Project in Peru. Notable findings include copper-gold porphyry over a 5 km by 3 km area.

Recent soil sampling and mapping have identified extensive copper-rich outcrops in creeks. Key channel samples reported include 126 m @ 0.22% Cu and 192 m @ 0.16% Cu. A 30-member team is actively conducting soil sampling and mapping.

Future plans involve a project-scale induced polarization geophysical survey and a large-scale LiDAR survey to further map the extensive porphyry target.

CEO Michael Hudson highlighted the importance of these efforts in understanding the mineralized system, with areas showing varying concentrations of gold and copper. These developments aim to progress the project towards drill permitting swiftly.
