In September 2025, the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge in Guizhou Province, China, began attracting visitors by opening to traffic. As the world's highest bridge, it marks a significant infrastructure achievement. This development has transformed Huajiang Village, a small Bouyei ethnic community, into a bustling tourist destination during its first summer vacation season.

Since the season started, local enterprises such as 15 homestays and 13 restaurants have experienced full bookings. The bridge's presence has enhanced the local economy, with farmhouses becoming high-end accommodations and traditional meals evolving into local delicacies.
