Grid Metals Announces Substantial Mineral Resources at MM Copper/Nickel Project in Manitoba

Grid Metals Corp. recently shared an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for its MM Project in southeastern Manitoba, indicating significant copper and nickel deposits amenable to open-pit mining. This development marks a critical advancement in exploiting the highly prospective Bird River Greenstone Belt. New geophysical reviews have also identified promising drilling targets within the region, boosting potential for further exploration.

The Indicated mineral resources include 317 million pounds of copper and 263 million pounds of nickel, with additional byproducts like palladium, platinum, and gold. Major improvements in metallurgical recovery and favorable market conditions have enhanced the project's prospects. Notably, the Mayville and Makwa deposits offer strategic benefits due to their proximity and lack of royalty or offtake obligations, enhancing their appeal for future development and financing.

CEO Robin Dunbar emphasized the significance of this resource update in meeting North America's growing demand for critical metals, alongside the synergistic potential with the nearby Donner Lithium Project. The combined resources and strategic location position Grid Metals favourably for future expansion and operational efficiencies.
