GoldenPeaks Capital Secures Financing for Solar PV Portfolio in Hungary

GoldenPeaks Capital (GPC), a rapidly growing independent green energy producer in Europe, has secured financing for a solar PV portfolio totaling 64.5 MWp in Hungary. Erste Group and Erste Bank Hungary provided senior financing, while French asset manager Schelcher Prince Gestion (SPG) backed the junior financing. Capcora acted as GPC's exclusive financial advisor.

The portfolio includes two solar projects in northeast Hungary, currently under construction. Long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) will be established once the projects are operational. The financing involved senior loans from Erste Group and Erste Bank Hungary, as well as junior financing from SPG, structured with flexibility for future adjustments.

Daniel Tain, President of GPC, expressed delight in securing the financing, calling it a milestone and welcoming new strategic lenders. Representatives from Erste Group, Erste Bank Hungary, and SPG highlighted the innovative and flexible financing structure tailored for GPC's projects.
