GoldenPeaks Capital Secures EUR 114m for Polish Solar Projects
GoldenPeaks Capital (GPC), a leading independent renewable energy producer in Europe, has closed a senior loan of EUR 114 million. The funds will finance the construction of two solar photovoltaic (PV) portfolios in Poland. This transaction features PKO Bank Polski and Alior Bank as financial providers, with Capcora as the exclusive financial advisor.
This deal represents GoldenPeaks Capital's thirteenth solar portfolio construction finance in Poland. It highlights the company's dedication to growing its renewable energy presence in Central and Eastern Europe. The projects will benefit from a long-term corporate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
The financing includes a new partnership with Alior Bank, alongside the recurring support from PKO Bank Polski. Legal advisement for the lenders was provided by Addleshaw Goddard, while Greenberg Traurig and Clyde & Co advised GoldenPeaks Capital.
