Global Startups Invited to Join Largest Construction Competition

The Construction Startup Competition 2024 began today, inviting startups globally to participate in this year’s event aimed at transforming the construction industry through sustainability, efficiency, and on-time solutions. This competition, held by Cemex Ventures in collaboration with leading companies like Caterpillar, Ferrovial, and others, serves as a major platform for innovation and networking within the construction and cleantech sectors.

The competition focuses on four main areas: Green Construction, Enhanced Productivity, Construction Supply Chain, and the Future of Construction. Startups that participate stand to gain not only capital and networking opportunities but also a chance to pilot projects in global markets and attract potential investors. The application window is open from May 7 through June 30, 2024, with the final event set for November at the Trimble Dimensions User Conference.

Throughout its seven-year history, the competition has acted as a significant catalyst for nearly 3,000 startups, facilitating over US$396 million in funding and contributing to the successful scaling of many innovative solutions within the industry. According to Gonzalo Galindo of Cemex Ventures, this competition has helped numerous startups achieve considerable growth and investment.
