Glidewell Announces 2024 Guiding Leaders Cohort

On April 5, 2024, Glidewell's selection committee chose 25 promising women dentists from a pool of nearly 100 applicants for their Guiding Leaders program. This initiative, now in its fourth year, focuses on business and leadership development specifically in the dentistry field.

The selected candidates, ranging from Oreoluwa Adegun to Tiffany Young, represent a diverse group from across the U.S. The program aims to enhance their skills in practice management, negotiations, office culture, and profit increase, among other areas. The training runs from May to October.

Stephenie Goddard, CEO of Glidewell, highlighted the increase of women in dentistry, now making up over half of all graduating dentists. The program caters to this demographic shift by cultivating new leaders who mirror the modern dental industry's composition.

Alumni of the program contribute by mentoring current participants and sharing their insights at industry events such as the Dentistry on the Rise Symposium. Bobbie Norton noted the profound impact of the program on its alumnae, many of whom have seen significant professional growth and a rejuvenated passion for dentistry.
