GL Events and Fimalac to Form Leading Cultural Operator
GL Events, alongside Trévise Participations, is in exclusive negotiations with Fimalac to acquire Fimalac Entertainment’s venue management, ticketing, and show production activities. This collaboration aims to establish a prominent cultural operator in the events and entertainment sector.
GL Events plans to acquire management rights to regional venues, including the iconic Salle Pleyel, while Trévise Participations will take over show production activities and the ticketing service provider, Wetix. Consequently, Fimalac will obtain a 5% stake in Polygone, GL Events' parent company, and Éléonore Ladreit de Lacharrière will join the GL Events Board.
The deal awaits regulatory approvals and employee consultations, with completion expected by the third quarter of 2025. This partnership signifies a strategic alignment aimed at fostering innovation and growth within the cultural landscape.
