GITEX Africa Morocco Set to Propel Digital Economy Forward in 2024
GITEX Africa Morocco, the premier tech and startup event for the continent, is poised to host its second annual edition under the patronage of Morocco's King Mohammed VI. Scheduled for 29-31 May 2024, the event aims to further Morocco's and Africa's digital advancement in collaboration with the Moroccan Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform and the Digital Development Agency (ADD).
Following its successful inaugural event in 2023, GITEX Africa Morocco is expected to draw thousands of participants eager to explore advancements in technology across various sectors, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, digital health, and artificial intelligence, among others. This year's focus imitates the event's inaugural agenda, aiming to facilitate large-scale discourse and collaboration that advance the continent's digital landscape.
Morocco's Minister of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, H.E. Dr. Ghita Mezzour, and ADD's General Director, Mr. Mohammed Drissi Melyani, highlighted the event's role in strengthening South-South cooperation and promoting Africa's digital competency globally. Alongside returning exhibitors like Epson, Honeywell, and Kaspersky, the event will welcome the debut of World Future Health Africa, emphasizing the continent's growing digital health revolution.
