Gerresheimer AG Delays Financial Reports and Initiates Centor Sale

Gerresheimer AG has announced a postponement in the publication of its 2025 annual and consolidated financial statements due to ongoing investigations. The company is evaluating its revenue recognition and accounting practices for 2024 and 2025. These investigations aim to correct previous figures and ensure compliance with qualitative standards. Additionally, Gerresheimer plans to sell its US subsidiary, Centor Inc., to optimize its capital and financing structure.

The sale, managed by Morgan Stanley, will facilitate the implementation of Gerresheimer's transformation program. The company projects revenues between EUR 2.3 to 2.4 billion in 2026 and anticipates a positive cash flow. Despite expected impairments and a need to correct 2024 figures, Gerresheimer remains focused on restructuring and growth. The company aims to return to profitability through strategic measures, including the closure of its Chicago Heights plant by end of 2026, transferring operations to global locations.
