GENUI Sells Labor Team to Galenica

GENUI GmbH has announced the sale of the Swiss diagnostics provider labor team to the pharmaceutical company Galenica. The transaction, pending approval from the Swiss Competition Commission, marks a significant development in the healthcare sector. GENUI originally acquired labor team in 2021, and since then, the company has grown into one of the four largest laboratories in Switzerland, boasting revenues exceeding 100 million CHF and employing over 300 people.

The sale aligns with GENUI's strategy of "Good Entrepreneurship", focusing on scaling businesses and their positive impacts. During GENUI's ownership, labor team introduced innovative diagnostic tests and completed strategic acquisitions. CEO Dr. med. Alain M. Cahen expressed gratitude for GENUI's partnership, highlighting future growth opportunities under Galenica's umbrella. Galenica, a major player with around 8,000 employees, is set to strengthen labor team's market position.
