Freenet AG Sets Financial Targets for 2028
On November 8, 2024, Freenet AG's Executive Board outlined their financial goals for 2028, emphasizing significant growth in EBITDA and free cash flow. The company remains committed to its successful digital lifestyle strategy, focusing particularly on the IPTV sector for growth.
The target is to increase EBITDA by 4% annually, reaching at least EUR 600 million by 2028, driven by developments in Mobile Communications and TV and Media. This amount represents a growth of EUR 100 million, with the IPTV business, waipu.tv, expected to contribute significantly.
The Mobile Communications segment holds steady, with an additional EUR 20 million anticipated in EBITDA by 2028. These efforts will offset rising overheads and sustain the segment as a revenue foundation.
Free cash flow is projected to rise to EUR 330 million, maintaining a high cash conversion rate. Freenet will continue to distribute 80% of this in dividends, allowing shareholders to benefit from increased payouts.
