FORVIA HELLA Reports Stable Sales Amid Challenging Market Conditions

FORVIA HELLA has announced its nine-month financial results for 2024, highlighting stable sales and solid profitability despite a tough market environment. Adjusted sales rose by 0.8% to €6.0 billion, matching last year's reported level of €5.9 billion. Operating income reached €344 million with a margin of 5.8%, a slight decline from the previous year's 6.1%.

The company's Business Group Lighting spearheaded growth with a 4.1% increase to €3.0 billion, driven by the consolidation of its Chinese joint venture and series launches in the US. However, Electronics and Lifecycle Solutions saw a downturn in sales, impacted by market declines and slow electrification in Europe.

CEO Bernard Schäferbarthold noted the challenging conditions in the automotive sector but confirmed the company's adjusted forecast for 2024. With ongoing strategic initiatives, FORVIA HELLA aims to enhance regional business and profitability.
