Forsee Power inaugurates its production site in Ohio
Forsee Power has opened its North American headquarters and new manufacturing facility in Columbus, Ohio. The 140,000-square-foot facility will produce battery systems for heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles that meet “Buy America” standards.
This development marks a milestone in Forsee Power’s expansion strategy. The site hosts production and R&D activities with two versatile assembly lines. Production is expected to reach 3 GWh by 2028.
Forsee Power aims to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles in North America. The company plans to create 150 jobs by 2028 and is already working with universities for training programs.
Jay Deis, President of Forsee Power North America, will oversee operations. His expertise in the automotive industry will be crucial to supporting the company's development in the region.
Christophe Gurtner, CEO of Forsee Power, considers this inauguration as a crucial step for the decarbonization of transportation in North America.
