Ford Expands BlueCruise Technology to More Models

Ford has announced the expansion of its hands-free highway driving technology, BlueCruise, to new models such as Puma, Puma Gen-E, Kuga, and Ranger PHEV. Originally launched in the Mustang Mach-E, BlueCruise is the first hands-free system approved in Europe in 2023. It now stands as the most widely available "hands-off, eyes-on" driver assistance system on the continent.

Globally, over 1 million vehicles are equipped with BlueCruise, and drivers have covered more than 888 million kilometers hands-free. Ford aims to broaden customer access to enhanced driving comfort and safety on highways, with BlueCruise now being operational across 16 European markets.

The technology leverages Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control to manage steering, braking, lane positioning, and maintain safe distances from other vehicles. It becomes available on select new models from spring 2026, with full pricing and subscription details to be disclosed closer to the release date.
