Florentaise: Growth in sales of peat-free potting soils

Florentaise, market leader in peat-free potting soils in France, confirms its key position with horticulturists and nursery growers. Professionals are increasingly opting for Florentaise products, combining agronomic performance and sustainable commitment.

In 2023, 50% of the potting soils produced by Florentaise were peat-free, compared to 2.6% in 2017. The company has a market share of 12% in France, with recurring turnover of 86% between 2020 and 2022 Sales to professionals increased by 10% in the first half, representing 44% of the total turnover of the Terreaux France category.

This success can be explained by the use of renewable and local resources, reducing supply risks while benefiting from a competitive cost. At the same time, Florentaise contributes significantly to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
