FlatexDEGIRO Surpasses Three Million Customers, Eyes Cryptocurrency Expansion

FlatexDEGIRO AG, a leading pan-European online broker, has reached a significant milestone, surpassing three million customers. This marks a more than tripling of its customer base since 2020, with 400,000 new customers added in the past year alone. CEO Oliver Behrens expressed gratitude towards the customers for their trust and support and announced the upcoming launch of cryptocurrency trading to broaden the company's offerings.

The broker's largest customer bases are in the Netherlands and Germany. Notably, Germany is where flatex initiated its flat fee execution model. Austria and Spain also contribute significantly, with approximately 300,000 customers each. Customer assets have also reached a record level of 66 billion euros, with consistent monthly cash inflows.
