Fire at Danjoutin Bus Depot Affects Hydrogen Buses

A fire occurred at the Danjoutin bus depot in the Territoire de Belfort, affecting seven hydrogen buses. The incident took place during the night of January 1-2, 2025. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

McPhy Energy, which supplies the hydrogen production and distribution station nearby, confirmed that their facilities were not impacted. The station is situated approximately 100 meters from the depot and remains undamaged.

The Prefecture of the Territoire de Belfort reported that the fire has been controlled. Containment and precautionary measures were lifted by the morning of January 2. Authorities are actively investigating the fire's cause.
