Falcon Gold Corp Announces Drilling Partnership With Centreline Drilling for Great Burnt Copper Project

Falcon Gold Corp has officially awarded a diamond drilling contract to Centreline Drilling of Newfoundland for its wholly owned Great Burnt Copper Project in Central Newfoundland. The drilling initiative aims to explore up to ten geophysical anomalies, covering a maximum of 1100 metres. Specific details on the commencement of the drilling will be provided after finalizing logistics and service provider arrangements.

The company commands a 2,275-hectare land in the Great Burnt camp, adjacent to the joint venture by Benton Resources Inc. and Spruce Ridge Resources Ltd. This vicinity is noted for its substantial copper deposits, with the neighboring property hosting an indicated resource of 381,300 tonnes at 2.68% Cu and inferred resources of 663,100 tonnes at 2.10% Cu. The Great Burnt Greenstone Belt, known for its copper and gold prospects, also encompasses the South Pond A and B zones, and the End Zone copper prospect.

Karim Rayani, Falcon's CEO, highlighted the burgeoning recognition of the Great Burnt camp's copper potential, showcased by Benton Resources Inc.'s recent drilling successes. Falcon anticipates unveiling the untapped potential of the Great Burnt area, leveraging its significant strike extent within an unexplored horizon. The project lies within the mineral-rich Great Burnt Greenstone Belt, hosting massive sulphide deposits of the Besshi-type, favorable for copper, cobalt, lead, gold, and silver deposits.

The technical aspects of this project have been validated by Greg Robinson, P.Geo., who is a Qualified Person as per National Instrument 43-101 standards. However, the company acknowledges that historical information needs further verification and doesn't guarantee similar mineralization on Falcon’s property based on adjacent findings.
