EXACOMPTA CLAIREFONTAINE Reports 2024 Financial Results

EXACOMPTA CLAIREFONTAINE's Board of Directors, chaired by François Nusse, has approved the financial statements for the year ending 31 December 2024. The company reported consolidated revenue of €831.3 million, a slight decrease from €843.2 million in 2023. Operating income fell to €45.3 million from €72.1 million, while net income after tax declined to €31.5 million compared to €43.1 million the previous year. The 2023 figures were supported by €16 million in non-recurring items.

The paper segment generated €357.1 million in revenue and €29.9 million in operating income. An increase in specialty product production helped offset declines in some markets, despite a rise in energy costs. The processing segment's revenue stood at €601.2 million. Segment reorganization and European sales growth helped stabilize revenue amid declining domestic demand.

The outlook remains cautious due to global economic uncertainty, with expected earnings below 2024 levels. The upcoming General Meeting will propose a dividend of €7.50 per share.
