EVSX Completes Battery Recycling Line Commissioning and Announces New Leadership

St-Georges Eco-Mining Corp. has successfully commissioned its first 4,200-ton-per-year battery processing line. This line, part of EVSX Corp, achieved over 85% recycling efficiency, handling various alkaline and zinc-carbon batteries. The company will now refine the line for optimal performance.

The company has also started installing a 10,000-ton-per-year line at its Thorold, Ontario plant. This location maximizes reach to major automotive hubs like Detroit. With flexible lines, the company aims to address diverse industry needs while considering a new facility in Western Canada to cut transport costs.

In leadership changes, Ian C. Peres becomes CEO of EVSX. With extensive financial and executive experience, Peres's role is pivotal as EVSX advances its recycling capabilities.
