Evotec SE: Results of the Annual General Meeting 2024

On June 10, 2024, Evotec SE announced the outcomes of its Annual General Meeting. The majority of the proposals presented by the company's management received substantial approval from shareholders. Notably, Dr. Duncan McHale and Wesley Wheeler were elected to the Supervisory Board, replacing Dr. Elaine Sullivan and Dr. Mario Polywka.

The meeting featured presentations from key company figures, including Supervisory Board Chair Prof. Dr. Iris Löw-Friedrich and Chief Business Officer Dr. Matthias Evers, who discussed Evotec's strategic developments and business performance. Most agenda items were adopted by a large majority, and the management and supervisory board members were discharged of liability for the 2023 financial year. The sole exception was the resolution regarding the former CEO, Dr. Werner Lanthaler, which was rejected.

The adjustments in the Articles of Association, including the terms of office and election requirements for the Supervisory Board's Chairperson, were also approved. Additionally, BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft was confirmed as the auditor for the fiscal year 2024. Representation at the meeting was 58.18% of the registered share capital.
