Europeans place health as a priority in the Ecological Transformation Barometer

As the European elections on June 9 approach, environmental and economic challenges are increasing. According to the second edition of the Ecological Transformation Barometer, Europeans place health at the top of their priorities in the face of climate change.

European citizens are showing growing concern about the impacts of climate change on their health and quality of life. They call for concrete actions to combat this phenomenon.

To face these challenges, Europeans say they are ready to accept the changes necessary to generalize environmental solutions. They believe that the cost of inaction would be much higher than that of action. This desire to act is expressed in particular through their support for initiatives combining ecological planning, innovation and the evolution of standards.

Furthermore, 65% of Europeans are now ready to drink recycled water in order to reduce the risk of shortage. Finally, nine out of ten Europeans believe that cooperation between local authorities, businesses, governments and citizens is essential to achieve ecological transformation.
