European Space Ventures Launches New Space Bond with 8% Interest Rate
European Space Ventures AG has unveiled the European Space Bond, marking Europe's first bond dedicated to New Space investing. The bond offers a fixed interest rate of 8% p.a. over a five-year term and is available for subscriptions starting at €1,000. The aim is to build a diversified portfolio of European space companies.
The bond's issuance targets investments in innovative space firms within the European New Space economy, differentiating it from products concentrated on the US market. European Space Ventures plans to list the bond on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in December 2026.
With a volume up to €11,999,000, proceeds from the bond will be used to strengthen European space company holdings. The bond's introduction highlights a strategic move to support Europe's space sovereignty and development of space resources.
