Eurofins Scientific Cancels 10.8 Million Repurchased Shares

Eurofins Scientific SE, a leader in bio-analysis, announced the cancellation of 10,818,183 shares. This represents 5.61% of the company's share capital. These shares were repurchased as part of Eurofins' buyback programs initiated in October 2022.

The decision aligns with Eurofins' goal to reduce share capital. This was authorized by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on 25 April 2024. The cancellation of the shares became effective on 8 April 2025.

Following this change, the total number of shares outstanding for Eurofins is now 182,163,000. This adjustment reflects the company's strategic financial management and commitment to shareholder value.
