Eurazeo Finalizes Sale of Ultra Premium Direct to Inspired Pet Nutrition
Eurazeo has successfully completed the sale of Ultra Premium Direct, a leading French direct-to-consumer online pet food company, to Inspired Pet Nutrition. The acquiring company is a rapidly expanding international pet food enterprise controlled by CapVest Partners LLP. This transaction marks a significant milestone for Eurazeo, reaffirming its strategy of supporting European companies during pivotal growth phases. This sale highlights the quality of Eurazeo's investment portfolio and its capability to achieve profitable exits.
The transaction has resulted in a gross cash-on-cash multiple of 2.1x on Eurazeo’s initial investment. Approximately €138 million from the proceeds will be allocated to Eurazeo's balance sheet, exceeding its carrying value. This move underscores Eurazeo's commitment to generating value for its stakeholders.
