Ernst Russ AG Announces Sale of MV MOVEON

Ernst Russ AG, a maritime investment manager and ship owner based in Hamburg, has successfully sold their container feeder vessel, MV MOVEON. The vessel, built by J. J. Sietas KG Schiffswerft in Hamburg in 2001, has a slot capacity of 868 TEU and measures 135 meters in length and approximately 23 meters in width. Ernst Russ Group had been operating MV MOVEON since 2016 in partnership with a joint venture partner.

The sale was finalized with the vessel's handover taking place in Piraeus, Greece. Details of the transaction including the purchase price remain undisclosed by the parties involved. This move aligns with Ernst Russ AG’s ongoing adjustments to their fleet operations.

Looking ahead, Ernst Russ AG is set to release their three-month report for 2024 on May 27, following up with their Annual General Meeting scheduled for May 30 in Hamburg.
