Ernest Nuamah commits to Olympique Lyonnais until 2028

Lyon, July 7, 2024 – Olympique Lyonnais confirms the definitive acquisition of Ghanaian international striker Ernest Nuamah for an amount of 28.5 million euros. The player, who played at RWDM, signed a four-year contract, binding him to the club until June 30, 2028.

Nuamah, loaned to Lyon in the summer of 2023, participated in 33 matches in all competitions and scored 3 goals, thus convincing his managers to extend his adventure. Trained at the Ghanaian academy “Right to Dream”, he had already distinguished himself at Nordsjaelland in Denmark with 20 goals in 49 matches between January 2022 and August 2023.

Aged 20 and with 11 international selections, Ernest Nuamah will resume training on July 8. The striker is appreciated for his speed, his playing dynamics and his potential for progression.
