Eramet launches eraLow, a brand of manganese alloys with a low carbon footprint
On February 27, 2025, Eramet announced the launch of eraLow, a new brand dedicated to low-CO₂ manganese alloys. With eraLow, Eramet offers an effective solution to help the steel industry reduce its carbon footprint. eraLow products have an emission of less than 1.9 tonnes of CO₂ per tonne of alloy, distinguishing themselves by a performance above the global average.
eraLow alloys guarantee a carbon intensity verified by DNV, an internationally renowned third-party organization. Thanks to eraTrace, a blockchain-based traceability service, Eramet ensures transparency across the entire value chain. In addition, production meets the highest ESG standards, with ISO-certified facilities.
