EquityMultiple Witnesses 3x Growth in Investor Engagement, Signaling CRE Market Turnaround

EquityMultiple, a prominent real estate investment platform, has reported a substantial increase in activity for the past quarter. Individual investor interest and financing transactions have both seen significant upticks.

In July, the Green Street commercial property price index rose for the first time in nearly two years. EquityMultiple's data confirms this trend, suggesting the commercial real estate market may be recovering. Interactions with investment listings on the platform have tripled compared to the previous 90-day period.

The Alpine Note product stood out, with nearly 7x more views, while value-add investment offerings saw a 5x increase. This growth indicates heightened investor interest in these asset classes.

The platform also experienced a 58% increase in new investors quarter-over-quarter, with a 19% rise year-over-year. EM Investment Partners, EquityMultiple's capital markets team, is evaluating more deals, having screened over a billion dollars of opportunities in the first half of 2024.
